MARK TURNER

Mark Turner is Head of Project Finance for Royal Dutch Shell, and an experienced project finance practitioner. Prior to his current role he was in charge of Shell's strategic planning process. He started his working life in tax, first with the UK's Inland Revenue and then with Shell, working in London, The Hague and Lagos, Nigeria.

In between he spent some time in Shell Capital running a business line providing finance to small independent oil producers in Central Asia and West Africa. He has therefore been involved in Project Finance from both sides, as a borrower and a lender.
