Behavior and Risk Culture in Finance

On March 23 AIF organized a BrainBite event in cooperation with the PRMIA Netherlands chapter: Behavior and Risk Culture in the Financial Sector.

Risk managers are increasingly being given the task of measuring and achieving a good risk culture. The following questions then follow: what characterizes a "good" risk culture, how it can be measured and differentiated from a "poor" risk culture, and how can a change in risk culture be accomplished?

The planned speakers for the evening were Joris Luyendijk (a journalist and an author of numerous books, most recently Swimming with Sharks;  in Dutch "Dit kan niet waar zijn") and Muel Kaptein (Professor of Business Ethics and Integrity Management at RSM Erasmus University). Unfortunately Joris Luyendijk was unable to join due to illness but the event was nevertheless well attended and offered a lot of food for thought for the audience.
