AIF Program Advisor, Theo Vermaelen appointed new chair at INSEAD
AIF Program Advisor, Theo Vermaelen has been appointed to The Henry Grunfeld Chair in Investment Banking, endowed by S.G. Warburg Group PLC.
Previously Theo held the Schroders Chair in Asset Management and International Finance, which at the request of the donor is now refocused on research related to European competitiveness and policy reforms.
Theo's research focuses on the implications of corporate financial decision making for wealth management. He is the world-recognized authority on the long-term consequences of share buybacks, equity issues and convertibles for shareholder value. His research has led to the creation of a mutual fund and a hedge fund that implements his research ideas.
