Join us for the viewing of and discussion on the film Boom Bust Boom (Terry Jones - Monty Python), led by Harold Naus, CEO of Cardano Risk Management

A call to action, the feature documentary Boom Bust Boom investigates the worldwide economic crash of 2008, and how we can avoid another global collapse in the future. Analyzing the direct link between the unstable financial system and our reliance on mainstream economics, the film puts a spotlight on the mistakes of the past some politicians and central bankers would like us to forget. The documentary is a result of a meeting between writer, director, historian and Python Terry Jones and economics professor and entrepreneur Theo Kocken, founder of Cardano Insights.

The evening will be led by Harold Naus, CEO of Cardano Risk Management, together with Noortje van der Vorst who is responsible for the strategic advice and implementation of risk management solutions for several major pension funds at Cardano.

Harold Naus joined Cardano in 2014 as CEO Cardano Risk Management B.V. Prior to Cardano he worked for ING for 17 years. He had various risk management roles. Most recently he was Director Market Risk at ING Bank and member of the Leadership Council of ING Group. From 1993 till 1997 Harold worked at BNG Bank heading Quantitative Policy Support. Harold holds a MSc degree in Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology.

Noortje van der Vorst has been with Cardano since 2011 at the Strategic Risk Advice Team. In this role she is responsible for the strategic advice and implementation of risk management solutions for several major pension funds. She holds a bachelor degree in Biomedical Technology from the Technical University of Eindhoven and a MSc degree in Econometrics (Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Science) from the University of Tilburg.
