Increasingly, negotiated contracts are giving way to competitive tenders and auctions, as well as hybrid forms or "negotiauctions". Competitive tenders are increasingly no longer confined to the public sector. And of course, take-over battles are essentially auctions by another name.
This BrainBite compares and highlights the distinctive advantages and limitations of alternative buying/selling mechanisms - competitive tenders, negotiations, "negotiauctions", fixed prices, and sequential search.
Get a glimpse of what you can expect in the new 2-day program Competitive Tenders and Auctions, and take the opportunity to meet Ingemar Dierickx who also teaches our successful Negotiation Dynamics program.
"Negotiauctions" will be led by Ingemar Dierickx. Former Professor of Negotiation Dynamics at INSEAD, Ingemar Dierickx lives and breathes negotiations. In addition to his teaching, he brings with him a wealth of practical experience having advised leading companies and represented their interests as a negotiator, worldwide.
